Customs Service

Customs clearance is an important stage in the successful forwarding of a shipment.

Being properly informed as to the documentary requirements, is indispensable for clearance to take place correctly.

In conformity with European Directives, French customs set up an on-line customs declaration system (DELTA).

The DELTA system is composed of several clearance procedures:
• DELTA D, the simplified procedure for home clearance
• DELTA P, for handling goods
• DELTA X, for clearance of express shipments
• DELTA C, clearance under common law procedures

It’s very simple, an authorisation with the customs, gives WES direct access to the DELTA internet site, so it’s not necessary to go to the customs’ office to make the declarations.
